Epson printer warranty with non-epson ink cartridges

Is Epson's printer warranty (model 740) still valid if other than genuine Epson ink has been installed in the printer?

Please justify your answer.

Nope. Void if u use non-genuine ink. But what they don't know can't hurt you.

Before you bring it in for warantee, make sure they can't tell you used non-genuine ink cartridges. If you are using a fake cart, take it out, and put in a genuine one. If you refilled a genuine but you made holes in it to refill it, replace it with a genuine cart that wasn't touched. If you got a geniune cart that you managed to refill without drilling into it, then you can keep it in there, they'll never be able to tell it's refilled.
