I took advantage of the buy-a-printer-and-scanner-and-receive-$30 rebate deal - but I haven't submitted the rebate. I just found out that Epson is releasing the Perfection 1240U in the states soon, so my question is - should I wait for that unit and return my 1200U or should I just keep my 1200U?
I'm not too happy with the fact the 1200U doesn't use a true 1200DPI CCD, but then again, the 1240U doesn't either. The price will surely be about the same, and even if I have to pay a couple dollars more I'd wait for the 1240U if it's better.
Please advise!
