I'm a long time Mac user that has been migrating onto PCs more and more over the last year or so.
I have up to now been still using my Mac for video/iDVD and still-photo editing/printing (iPhoto + Photoshop 7) but recently found a really nice iPhoto-like program to manage photos from my digital camera.
Epson's FilmFactory works very, very similarly to Apple's iPhoto. Organizes pictures into virtual film-rolls, and gives control over red-eye, contrast, brightness, color, rotation, etc.
Lots of printing options. Fast and memory-efficient.
I suprised Epson doesn't advertise this application more than they do. A limited version comes on their printer driver CDs, but the program will work on just about any system. It's really a gem, and not at all expensive ($29 I think).
I've got no connection to Epson, other than I've found an app that does what iPhoto does on the Mac.
