Epson CX5200 install problem

I am trying to install this new all in one printer/scanner. It prihts but keeps going into error. When i tryed to load the drivers, I keep getting an error that reads.
NTVDM KERNEL: missing 16 bit system module.
Please re-install module to your system 32 directory.
USER.EXE
Does anyone have a clue as to what they are refering to. I have WinXP home ed.
