I saw this pitch at one of the auction sites--never heard of it before--Has anybody done this?
Description:
This auction is for information on how to convert your Epson 440, 640, 740, 740i or 860 printer and your Canon 5100, 6000, and 8200 printer to print to inkjet printable CDR. (many other models have also been adapted, such as HP and Xerox, all you need is a straight through path for paper to feed!) Any size or shape of CD can be printed to as long as it is inkjet printable. I am not talking about cheap paper lables that peel. This prints directly to the CD!! The main idea is that the printer be able to feed through paper in a straight direction so if you have a later model of one of these brands it may work as well (you should know, does your printer allow direct feeding of paper from behind? Give it a try, empty the regular paper tray, and attempt to feed paper STRAIGHT through from behind (this will be necessary to print on CDs. After the printer is converted it can still print to regular paper without any remodification.😕
