Epson cartridge smartchip workaround

I have an Epson C82 that I just bought a refill kit for. When I bought it however, I didn't realize that the smart chips on the Epson cartridges prevented refills... Good ole' marketing tech. I saw that there are specialized chip resetting devices, but does anyone know if there is a software solution for this? Like specialized drivers, or some workaround program? Any advice would be great. I have a paper due!
