Has Anyone does have with the Epson C-84 Printer, Does part of Photo Printer, also new Ink called ' Dura-Lite Ink .

Need to know if its a good for your satisifcation ?

I don't like the Epson printers that much. I've had a C-82 and it is sitting in the closet. I got a Canon and I'm much happier. 3rd party Cartridges are MUCH cheaper, it doesn't clog so easily, you can refill the carts yourself much easier etc.
The i5xx series are very nice for printing a lot of color and the price just dropped to under $100. on one of them (the i560, I think).
.bh.

Even with the now separate ink carts, the Epsons will eat you alive on ink cost. Canon all the way for me. Current darling is the i865. Yes it's initially twice as much as the C84, but after your first two rounds of replacement ink, that'll even out.

Sure, Epson's waterproof ink is nifty, but beyond it being nifty, what's the use?

I can vouch for the Canon i865,had mine about 3 weeks now and cannot fault it in any area, inks are cheap, text and photo prints are excellent, printer is also very quiet, perfect printer for me 🙂.

Btw I`m now an ex Epson user 😉.

I like my Epson r300 ($150-$200) very nice prints, built in multi card reader, can print on DVD's and CD's, is USB 2.0 and also has a USB 2.0 pass through in front for your camera. It had a nice LCD screen for non computer printing off your memory cards. The r300m ($250-$275) has an LCD monitor so you can see thumbprints of your pictures. As far as the c-84 I dunno. I have seen the c-82 and love it.
