I just did this so I know it works. At least here in the Tacoma area.
CompUSA (and just about everyone else) has the Epson 925 photo printer in store for $249.99
CompUSA also has today only the $50 mail in gift card.
CompUSA also has an instore rep today with a $10 MIR (he says you can only get it from him) also he throws in 4" photo paper.
Walked across the street to the Circuit City where the pricematch other stores including rebates
Circuit City matched the matched it so I dont have to screw around with mailing in the the gift card and rebates.
$249.99 Epson 925
-50.00 Gift Card
-10.00 Epson rep mail in rebate
$189.99
The sales associate said he couldnt give me the 10 off the cost of the printer but could give it in the form of a gift card? No big deal cause I bought the roll of 4" photo paper anyhow.
You might be able to get the sales associate to give you a free roll of paper but they wouldnt do it for me. But instat savings is always better than waiting for the rebates.
If any one comes across any mail in rebates to top this off it would be even better.
