Epson 780 vs Canon S520

I'm about to buy a new printer 'coz my old 'n trusty Canon BJC-4100 isn't good enough to print my Digicam's picture. I've done some research and I'v come to settle for one of the following:

Epson 780 at U$100 or
Canon S520 at U$105

which one would you recomend??

I will use any of these basically for text and ocasional photo printing from a 2.1 megapixel Digicam

The Canon's advantages are: separate ink tanks for each of the four colors, and a non-permanent, affordable print head should things ever go horribly wrong (which, usually, doesn't happen with Canons). Besides, it can print zero-margin photos, dunno if this particular Epson can.

The S520 is a superior printer in my opinion.

You get separate ink tanks and very good graphics/photo quality. Like mentioned before, Epson doesn't offer borderless printing Stylus 780 (Canon does on this model).

The Canon's advantages are: separate ink tanks for each of the four colors, and a non-permanent, affordable print head should things ever go horribly wrong (which, usually, doesn't happen with Canons).

To my knowledge, Canon doesn't make replacement printheads available on their newer models locally. You generally have to order them directly from Canon because they warrant the printhead to last the "life of the printer". A friend of mine bought an open box S300 a few months ago for $20 because it was missing the printhead. The Canon rep at the store said that it would cost $79.00 to order a new printhead for that model. I'd shudder to know what they want for the S520's printhead......
