Epson may want 699 for it, but it has come out with minor revisions of it since then. The

epson ex71
epson ex7200

are almost the exact same projectors but 1280x800 instead of 1280x720. Now the epson ex7200 has 2600 lumens vs 2500 lumens for the epson ex71

Eh, the ones you're mentioning are office projectors, whereas the one in the OP is for home theaters. I don't know the specifics of any of them, but I would guess that the first one might be better for movies (e.g. better blacks, image quality). I could be wrong though.
