Epson 670 problem, cant change ink cartrige!

Hi,
I have an Epson Stylus 670 and I think there's no more ink in the catrige, but when I press the button for 3 seconds, the cartrige is supposed to be in a certain position to switch cartrige........ but it goes back in the right side, under the plastic thing (I cant open the cartrige door unless it's in the right position)....... so I cannot switch cartrige........ any help?
 
Hehe, same thing happened to me last night but i got the better of my 740 😀
I just pressed the button for 3 seconds and when the cartridges moved i pulled the power plug with spare hand when they were in position for changing.
That ink level mullarky seems to be time limited and i like to get every last drop out of my cartridges so im getting quite good at this now 😀
