I have a 3 year old Epson 5020UB. It failed. Epson says 900.00 to fix it...maybe! 3000.00 for a model that lasts 3 years? Both sensors bulb and temp light come on. I replaced the bulb.... An authorized tech has to send it in to Epson. He also told me 3-5 years is normal to get from a projector. $3000.00 for 3 years? Really!
Has anyone had this issue? I would think Epson would stand behind their units better than this. 1 year out of warranty. I thought I was buying a good product after all the research I did. Any suggestions?
