Epson 2450 anyone????

I was just at compusa today looking at the scanners. The Epson 2450 makes the Epson 1650 and Epson 1250 look like toys.

It even has an OFF switch/

Of course you get what you pay for!!!

I'm trying to get decent scanning for slides, negatives and prints. Other than the build quility, the 2450 has a decent 4x9 built in light source in the hood, and USB 2.0 and firewire for quick high resolution scans (but no adapter included).

Does anyone out there use an Epson 2450 and are you happy with it?


Yeah I know, if you can't overclock it, fat chance on getting and anandtecher to comment on it!



 
Sweet. An off switch.


The only two scanners I've had were "always on" and turned off the light after being idle for a while. I just pull the plug when I don't use it.
