Epox's Magic Flash

Epox's Magic Flash refuses to work, I hit the "Connect" button and it says "Connection Failed."

I'm at college, so maybe they have some funky port blocking or something. Anyway, is there a way for me to flash my Epox 9NDA3J via Windows using some other method?

Whenever I boot up, it always freezes at 75, which is "Detect and Install all HDD devices"

What happends is it'll just stall at this process until I reboot/turn it off. This happends about 80% of the time I turn on the computer and it's been getting really annoying. I bought the board from someone who had did the VDIMM mod on it, so RMAing it is out of the question. I've tried using different IDE cables, still have the problem. I was thinking maybe a BIOS flash might solve it.

Any help?

I've always flashed with a floppy using a bootdisk. See if you can download the bios file to my documents, and transfer it to a floppy. Many require you to unzip them first. Most come with a flash program.

Can I do it through USB disc? I haven't used a floppy in over a couple years.
