I was reading a review of the new 865 based PDA+ v2.0 board and it sounds fantastic (HTP372A and all).

Any news when these new overcloking friendly boards in the USA will be avail?

sounds like only accessmicro has it.
i've been waiting forever for newegg to get it, but no luck yet. is this the board to get? i know the only other board that offer the kind of vdimm voltage (up to 3.2) is the abit ic-7g max iii, which is butt expensive.

The board you are referring to is the 4PDA2+ rev. 2.0, which I recently purchased and am very pleased with. I was unable to find a vendor online who carried it, so I called Epox's US office and inquired as to it's availability. The gentleman I spoke with took my name and # and about 30 minutes later I received a call from Tom at Access Micro. He told me that they were Epox's main distributor in the US now, and they had plenty in the boards in stock(even though they do not show up on the website). Anyone who is interested can reach Tom at 1-800-906-6868, extension 6006.
The part # is MTBET4PDA2+20 and I believe they are $145 shipped (due to a glitch in their system, I got mine for $119!).

anyone able to confirm with accessmicro regarding the revision number of their epox 4pda2+? they are also listed as in stock, and i think they are located pretty close to access micro, wonder if they might have the 2.0 version too.

I was able to find the rev 2.0 at www.censuspc.com which I found thru the EPoX website.

The picture on the site is of the 1.0 but I called them and they've got the 2.0 also. If you order there, just make sure to follow up with a phone call to specify that you want the 2.0. It cost $131 + s/h.

Mwave refused to tell me which revision they had. Too bad, their loss I guess.

just ordered one from tom at accessmicro. it's $135 shipped (via airborne/dhl 2 days). price came down by $10. dali71, did you get it for $119 shipped or $119 + shipping? i asked tom about the $119 price, and he told me that you basically got it at cost, so he was aware of the situation.

anyway, with 2 day shipping included, this is the best price so far. censuspc has it for $131 + $7 shipping. mwave with 3 day shiping is around $138 also, plus there's no guarantee you'll get a version 2.0 from mwave.

i'm used to getting mobos from newegg, too bad newegg doesn't have it this time.

With 2 day shipping it came to $129.30, so I got pretty lucky :). I am running a 2.4C at 3.0GHz using OCZ PC4000 Gold and a Zalman 7000Cu. My timings are 2.5, 4, 4, 7. I'll try for more aggressive timings and a higher overclock after it's burned in a bit. It is rock solid and my gameport bracket has a SATA connector, so I'll be ready for any future external devices that make use of that. I know that the VDIMM goes up to 3.3V, I have mine at 3.0V. I have my VCORE at 1.6V, I believe it goes up to about 1.8. Over 800FSB only 1:1 and 5:4 are available. I want to get a couple of the new Raptors when they are released later this year, but until then I'll just settle for my 2 WD800JBs in RAID 0.

Since Access Micro is EPoX's new main US distributor, I think that the vendors in the area (Mwave, Census, Newegg) should all have Revision 2.0 if they have the boards in stock. Mwave lists the 4PCA3 and 4PDA2 as "New" products, therefore, I assume that they have the Revision 2.0.

Newegg does not have either board, I wonder when they will get some. Mwave/Census/Newegg/Access are like 5 miles apart from one another.

i received my epox 4pda2+ v2.0 from accessmicro. the mobo works fine, but mine didn't come with the utilities/drivers cd and only had one round cable. dali71, did your mobo come with everything, or was there something missing too?

i'm gonna give tom a call tomorrow since accessmicro's parent company, northgate, now also handles support for epox.

btw, i paid $135 for it shipped (it was shipped overnight, to my surprise). it's available on accessmicro.com website now for $119 + $6.50 shipping for ground.
