Found it at the Epox Store (dot com)

They come pre-flashed to the latest available bios. Gonna get one for a little Duron 800 I have that ate it's BIOS chip.

pretty much wherever else I've seen pre-flashed bios chips, they're 25 bux.

Edit: fixed link

FYI, assuming that you had a bad BIOS flash, you can always just hot flash the BIOS on a a different board.

If you have an actual fried BIOS, that's another story. :)

Thanks Bob. I've got a system that's toast and I may just try this on it.

They have always been $10 at Epox, and that is no deal.
No, chip removal tool is not included

Check around, and you will find the same chips as low as $2.50 each Retail.
Many use the chip for xbox mods.
Blank of course, but I would rather buy elsewhere than to give Epox MORE money for a part that failed.

Have done HotFlash many times (need to with Epox), and it works great.
Never had a bad eeprom that couldn't be restored.

EDIT.
Forgot to add.
Real solution is to spend $18 (ebay) and get a Bios Savior. (Yes! Chip removal tool included)
Bios Savior example (My Epox used RD1-LPC2)
This is a new Bios chip and socket that replaces your current Bios chip.
Your old Bios can be inserted into the empty socket, or put in a drawer for safe keeping.
Dual Bios system.

I called Epox last year and they send me a new bios chip for my 8RDA+ for free.... You might want to try that first if you need one;)
