I've got all the componets ready...just not sure which of these 2 will be better in the long run. I suspect the Epox may have better components & be built a tad better than the UltraII.

Not sure if the NF4 or NF5 is a better chip.

PS: I don't need SLI.

Parts waiting:
2x1gb Patriot DDR2 667
X2 4200+
Thermalrighty Si-128
Gigabyte Silent 7600gt
etc.

DFI makes a better board, period. The Epox is also a top notch board. I don't think you can beat the UltraII for overclocking in its price range (actually, I think the only board that is vastky superior is the DFI 590SLI board), for AMD anyway. Should've gone intel, would have been within $50 and beat the amd hands down, but its too late for that.

Didn't want Intel. I think all the mobo options are either too expensive or flaky. Besides that, I'm not into benchmarks. The x2 4200+ is more processing power than I'll probably need anyway & it was cheaper than an e6300.

I agree that DFI LanParty boards are good, but not necessarily the Infinity line. I'm leanin towards the Epox, my only reservation is the lack of community support for the Epox boards. Now I just noticed the new Abit matx NF-M2. Looks like a much better built board than the UltraII-M2 for the same price. On-board graphics too! I'm not a gamer so I may just give that a try & save even more by skipping the video card.
