Hi, I wanted to ask this because Im a little bit worried... I have an Epox EP-MF570 SLI AM2 motherboard that I bought nearly a year ago, only to found out that this excellent piece of hardware is not getting bios updates of any kind, and I bought it having in mind that I could put a Phenom processor on it (AMD advertised that a bios update was the only requirement). I see that Asus, MSI and Gigabyte are updating their bioses, even for those not so new motherboards, and Epox, well. is sleeping, this is the latest bios i could find:

2007-01-12 / 06.12.22 / m5sl6c22.zip
** Support AM2 65nm CPU.
** Patch system temperature too high.
** Added full screen logo.

Is this a joke? What is Epox doing? This is a nonexistent support! I mailed them only to get a robotic response: There is no new bios for your motherboard.

Im a bit desperate. is there any possiblity that a Phenom processors will work on my motherboard? or do I really have to buy a new AM2+ motherboard? I really hate Epox. (I dont care if they are not making motherboards anymore (i read that somewhere)).

Damn. It became a year because of AMD's delays. Well, what the hell, next quad platform: INTEL.
