Yes, after reading this article here..

http://www.anandtech.com/showdoc.html?i=1578&p=10

The bottom part says ...

<< However, our biggest complain against the EP-8KHA+ is the lack of 4 DDR DIMM slots and onboard IDE RAID controller. With these two features EPoX would be able to raise themselves even higher. Fortunately, EPoX seems to listen to all the enthusiasts out there, and they will be releasing an updated version of the EP-8KHA+ soon. The new board, named EP-8KHA2, will have 4 DIMM slots and the new Highpoint HPT372 IDE RAID controller. If the board can maintain high stability with all 4 DIMMs populated, it would be in a really close game with the ABIT KR7-RAID. >>

My question is, when is the 8KHA2 coming out?

actually it looks like they're going to call it the 8KHA3

direct for Epox site:

8KHA3 - KT266A High Point 374 Duel Channel RAID. Now you can finally use it for your MP3 servers. This motherboard has the well tested KT266A chipset along with the newest HP 374 RAID controller, which the 8KHA3 can support up to 8 IDE ATA 133 devices and the best thing is, it supports up to 4 Gigs for PC 2100 memories. This is definitely an exciting product due to our hottest 8KHA+ KT266A motherboard. It won over 30 awards world wide and continues to be one of the best AMD solution currently.

<< wonder how much that board will cost >>

Prolly right at Dragon+, A7V266-E, KR7A-RAID range. I doubt it'll be as cheap as Shuttle AK35GTR because AK31A is $20 cheaper than 8KHA+ so it would stand to reason that 8KHA3 will be $20 or so more than AK35.

I doubt that they will wait for KT333A if this board is on the verge of release, because if it is, then it means that they've allready started producing 8KHA3 boards and they need to sell them so, it may not be a popular board, but they can't do anything else really.

The Epox 8kha2 has been cancelled. Don't worry though they are reportedly working on the 8KHA3 now, basically the same but with ATA133.

We are moving to 8KHA3 with Ultra DMA ATA133 instead of 8kha2 with ATA100.
8KHA3 also with IDE RAID will be available in Mid Feb. Thank you

Anand has some strange obsession with four DIMM slots. Four DIMM slots using DDR SDRAM, especially on a KT266A chipset, only causes instability. I would rather that most mainboards came with only two DIMM slots.
