I'm using Motherboard Monitor to keep an eye on things. My Athlon 1800+ @1621 MHz is sitting at 39 C w/retail HSF. Can that be right?? Seems too good to be true. How accurate is the CPU temp sensor?

Also, MM lists 2 other temp sensors w/readings similar to one another. One is the Winbond1, the other is LM84-1. Any clue what the difference is?

If that's your system temps, they're pretty much in line for that board. If it's your cpu temps, for that speed they seem low. And yes, they are inaccurate, by as much as +/- 10degress as the temp diode is not touching the cpu, it's actually only measuring the ambient air within the cpu socket.
