I know this isn't a question or even a real topic but I just want to take a second to post a solution to a problem I had with my EP-8KDA3J mobo.
Recently I put together what amounts to be the "core" of a new system. I bought an Enermax 420 PSU, an AMD 64 3200 CPU, a EPoX EP-8KDA3J mobo and 1 gig of Corsair 3200 Value Ram. Anyway, I put the whole thing together and press the power button. The computer starts to boot, the computer POSTs and then nothing. No windows loading, no error on the screen. Just a black screen and a running computer. No problem I think, I'll check the LCD error code screen on the motherboard. The errors I got were C1 C5 25 in that order with the 25 remaining. I opened my Epox mobo manual and check out what code 25 is. Well anyone with that book can tell you that 24-26 are "reserved". And now, when I restart, the computer wouldn't even POST. Great I thought. So i began to swap out ram, move it around, take it out but nothing helps. I unplugged drives, fans and changed the PSU. Nothing, just C1 C5 25. So I searched forums everywhere. Finally I came across a guy, deep in a thread somewhere, that said it helps to push the video card in as hard as you can. What the hell I thought. I reached down and pushed my 4600ti into the AGP slot like my name was Arnold. Low and behold, success!. The whole time it was just that the vid card wasn't jammed in there far enough.
I hope I didn't waste anyone's time with this story but I just wanted to possibly help anyone else who had the same problem and was searching the forums for a solution.
