EpoX EP-8K7A question...case LEDs

The manual isn't very clear about where to plug in the wires for the power LED and the HD LED (Enlight EN-7237). I've moved them around on the little strip, but they're still dark. Can somebody make a little diagram to show me where to plug them in?

For example, here's where I have PW_LED. The dots are the vertical line of 5 pins on J2. The bold dots are where the wire is plugged in.

I need to know this too.
So..in other words I put the black wire on the #1 or the &quot;+&quot; sign ?
Black is positive??
Some of my case wires are blue and white... how does one know which one is #1 or + ?

I don't have any black wires for the power LED and the HD LED...they're white and orange. I'm still confused!

I have this board and I agree with you on the manual. Did you notice they showed pics of another MB when they were talking about installing the cpu? Of course the manual isn't clear, it doesn't matter which way they are plugged in for the power because there are only two wires(a switch doesn't care which direction the current is flowing). Basically color doesn't matter. In the manual it gives a diagram of two rows of pins,
I will refer to them as row 1 and row 2, row 1 is on the left and row 2 is on the right.
just for example...
Row 1 Row 2

The upper first two pins of Row2 are the power, it shouldn't matter which way they are plugged in, if it doesn't work one way than obviously try the other. In the middle of Row 2 is a set of 4 pins, the bottom of the two are HDD Led lights. Again it shouldn't matter but if it does than switch it around. For the Power LED go to Row 1, the top set of pins. The bottom three pins are the ones you are most concerned with, the wires should be connected to pins 1 and 3

The power switch, reset switch and speaker all work, but the LEDs refuse to go on. Here's how I have them plugged in:

I tried reversing the orientation of the plugs, but still no effect. Maybe my case has bad LEDs?

your power leds are wrong.....you need to have them on the BOTTOM of those three pins so it looks like this:

stars are where to make the connection.

maybe you do have bad leds.....you could also try taking off the face plate and check the connections there...you could also try switching the leds around....
