EPOX EP-8K7A Motherboard: Include builtin sound?

I don't need/want this. Is there a version that does not include this?

As far as I know there is no 8K7A board without the AC97 sound built in. You can however disable the sound in the BIOS.

If you want a board with really good sound check out the Gigabyte 7DXR I think it has the Creative chip.

Both versions of the EP-8K7A include AC97 Sound but disabling it is a piece of cake in the BIOS.

Disable it and get a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz or a Hercules GTXP.
