EPOX EP-4PEA+ strange problem

I just received my Epox EP-4PEA+ and Intel P4 2.4B processor. Since the first power up nothing good has happened. First I had a nothing but beep codes everytime I tried to boot the thing. I determined after a lot of testing that the board must not like my Micron PC2100 ECC 256mb memory. As it turns out I was correct. No ECC for this MB. I purchased a PC2700 stick and now it will boot...once. If I reboot in any way once the thing is running I get 3 short beeps and no video. The computer seems to access the drives and possibly completes its boot (no video, so I can't tell for sure). The only way to get the thing to boot is to clear the bios with the on board jumper. Then it will boot, but just the one time. At this point I have tried everything that I know of. Now I suspect the video card compatability as I found out that the 3 short beeps I am getting now are an indication of a video problem (obviously). This is starting to drive me crazy.

Here's the system:

Intel P4 2.4B Retail
Epox EP-4PEA+
Apacer PC2700 Cas 2.5 256mb
ATI Radeon All In Wonder 8500DV 64mb
3.5" floppy
330w Enermax PS

(nothing else is currently hooked up)

Anyone know what I should be sending back to NEWEGG?

Thanks in advance.

Cant really tell , but i would suggest changing ur Vid card to a PCI card too see if there is any conflicts. (See if there is any IRQ shairing conflicts)

Hope this helps.

In case anyone is interested...the problem was the video card. I pulled out my AIW 8500DV and inserted my old AIW Radeon and all is good. I don't understand why. Looks like an incompatability with the ATI 8500 cards?

P.S. I tried to install an old TNT card and I couldn't even plug it in. The AGP key is located different on the TNT than the AGP slot. I didn't know that changed?

Do you still have the 4pea+? How do you like it? Did you ever resolve the AIW 8500DV conflict?
