EPOX DDR mobo question

I am considering purchasing this motherboard and 512 of the Crucial PC2100. I was wondering if this board requiers ECC or Registered RAM or should I just buy the cheap DDR from Crucial. Also, I was wondering what the what to expect out of AC97 audio since I have never used it before. Is this good enough for just listening to music and basic stereo game sounds? Finally, if anyone has had any difficulties with this MOBO/RAM combo please post your experience. Thanks.

I have this motherboard.

Buy the cheapest PC2100 from Crucial; it overclocks very well.

The onboard sound it fine for stereo music.

No difficulties whatsoever.
