Epox board problem

I have an epox mf570sli. It was running fine for over a year and the other day it stopped working all together, no POST, no beeps, nothing. I opened the case and noticed that one of the plastic tabs that the heat sink attached to broke off. I assumed the CPU overheated but I fixed the clip and put in a new Chip and still nothing. I assume the board is shot but don't want to throw more money away untill I am sure.

Any advice I could get on this would be much appreciated.
