I'll be getting an epox 9npa ultra with AMD 64 3000+ Venice core. I'll be also using a corsair value select 1GB memory. If anybody have the same setup and have overclocked their system, could someone tell me what are the setting?

Should I get a better memory for overclocking? What would be a good memory that is not too expensive?

I hear the Corsair VS is good memory, so you might be able to get a moderate overclock out of it, by upping the voltage a bit. Otherwise you could always put a divider in. :)

Btw welcome to the AT forums :D

Corsair VS is fine. Read the stickies by Zebo about OC and memory and use them. Great posts.

YMMV

;)

Kingston VR is just as good as Corsair VS. You can set the timing to 2.5-3-3-8-1T and retest. It should work.
