I'll make this short -
With the 200 ram divider (1:1), my OCZ ram is good in my epox board up to 260mhz.
With the 166 divider, it is only good up to 229mhz
With the 133 divider, it is only good up to 220mhz

Using the latest bios (haven't tried older bioses), venice cpu (under clocked when doing ram testing), revision 2.1 motherboard.

So, what do you think? I'd like to run my ram with 1a 166 divider at around 250mhz, but it just isn't stable/won't boot with any memory timings. Also, is there a 150 ram divider in other bios versions?

And with further testing, it seems that it is not a ram stability problem, but something else - probably definetly a divider stability problem.

For example, the ram needs 2.8v to get to 260mhz, but when running at 220mhz with a divider, it only needs 2.6v - and of course increasing the ram voltage doesn't help me increase its speed since I'm limited by somthing else.

Running with only 1 sick of ram instead of 2 doesn't help stability at all. I've tried both bios banks and seem to have better luck with the one farther from the cpu.

I've looked around a lot and it seems like it may have somthing to do with the CPU memory controller, motherboard, or ram compatability.

I'm not dissapointed, since the system is far better than my previous expectations. I'd love to get that massive bandwith increase by going 250mhz+ on my ram :) But as far as I can tell, my best bet is to wait for an updated bios or swap out my ram if I get a chance.

I'm currently running this system at:
cpu: 301HTT, 9x, 2700mhz, 1.50v
ram: 133 divider, 1T, 2.0-4-4-10, 200mhz, 2.6v
