Epox 9NDA3+ RAID troubles

MDE

Lifer
I just got he board today and it seems great but I can't get my Raptors into a working RAID array. I made an XP install disc with SP2 and drivers slipstreamed but it would just see the drives as two separate drives. I set up the RAID array in the Nvidia RAID utility and it says the array is healthy but no dice.

I've tried busting out the ol' floppy drive and used the RAID drivers from the Epox disc and downloaded drivers from Epox but when I load them (F6 in setup) I get an error (something about oemsetup.inf I believe) no matter what drivers or if I use my factory XP disc or the slipstreamed disc. The drives are plugged into SATA ports 3 and 4 (my Silencer blocks 1 and 2) and otherwise fully work. I have updated the BIOS and just about anything I can think of.

OK, I've been fiddling with it some more and it loads the RAID drivers off the floppy and sees the array, but after it formats the drive and starts copying setup files (including the drivers from the floppy) I get an error saying setup can't copy the files. I've tried three floppy drives, two floppy cables, and three floppy disks.

ever get this sorted out? i am having similar problems with a 9nda3j...

the first thing is that you have to get through a whole bios save and exit or it seems to get confused about what is hooked up...

but i get the 2 drives (pata x 2) in a striped array (at least the bios says it's ok); start w2k install and f6 and load both drivers; but install then sees both drives still... the manual is a little wierd, it acts like you have to do something after you install to activate the array, but how can that be if you ard setting it up to boot from???
