Epox 8RGA and Motherboard Code "CF"

Hello,

I have this PC sitting here and it's doing anything just displaying "CF" on the little motherbaord Code Readout thing on my Epox 8RGA. I have tried clearing the CMOS and it's not doing anything.

Is there any way I can try to reflash the Memory. "CF" just means that it's testing the CMOS' R/W Capabilities.

Try this...

1) Power off
2) Press and hold the INSERT key while applying power.
3) If the screen is shown release the INSERT key and enter the CMOS
4) Go into the bios and change the memory frequency from "AUTO" to "BY SPD"
or "100%".
5) Retest.

Thank you very much for your reply but my friend left the jumper on the Clear CMOS position vs Default.
