Epox 8rga and 2x 512 Kingston 3200 HyperX equals no post

I recently bought the following components:

Epox 8rga
2500 Barton
2x 512MB 3200 Kingston HyperX

I have/had the following issue:

I cannot post past the RAM with only the Kingston sticks. I can post with the HyperX if I also use a different stick of RAM with them...I've tried 3 kinds. I then set the correct timings for the HyperX, but it won't post upon reboot. The only way I can post with the Hyper is the following settings:

7-3-3-2.5
...and bumped the voltage one notch on the RAM.

I tried the 2500+ running at default speeds (11*166) and (12*200) with the same no-post results. It works fine with another stick in any of the 3 DIMM slots with just about any fsb and voltage.

2 bad sticks of RAM?? Board rev 1.0 = crap?? Temps are in the 40's with default cooling.

Thanks for any info/links.

what other RAM modules have you run in the system and their size? Will the machine post with just one stick of the Hyper X??? Alot of the newer mother boards are having problems with more than 512megs of RAM its seems as most benchmarks are done using 2X256 or 1X512. I haven't seenany benchmarks on the newer boards with more than 512 megs of Ram. Could be a compatibility issue with the MOBO.

I tried a 256MB and 512MB stick of Vantec, they worked fine.
I tried the Vantec with the 1G of Kingston, they all worked fine.
It's only when I use just the Kingston.

I've seen lots of people it multiple forums with the exact board and ram in their sig...this sux.

I have the latest official BIOS...even though they are no different for this issue. I found a newer one on some site, but again it has nothing to do with the RAM issue. I don't want to flash with a file that is 3rd-party.
