Anyone that has this setup and is overclocking, please let me know what you get.

I not sure the steppings on my 2500, but I would to get my FSB to 200mHz and I'm getting mixed reviews on whether the mobo is capable. I think it is, just want living proof.

I just purchased some Corsair Twinx 3200LLPT , so I won't be using the mem in my specs when I attempt this OC.

I got its stable with my PC2700 at (12x183). Im thinking that with this mem upgrade i should be able to get atleast 11x200 if not 12x200.

Check my specs for my other components, everything is accurate at this time, I should be getting the new mem in a few days.

I don't have a 2500, but I have a 2400+ and I can get the FSB up to 200Mhz. I'm using a stick of Crucial PC3200, so there's no problems because I'm not acutally overclocking my ram. I think there was something about certain revisions and things you had to modify with voltage if you have an older revision.

Cool, thx

I had read some reviews that said that they got it up to 200 but I read that other have had issues.

I got the board a few months ago, not sure was rev it is.... but once i get the new mem I will see for sure.

Everyone says the revision is on the bottom left corner of the board. And I would check, but I don't really feel like unscrewing my case and squinting between cards and wires to look for a number. I'm just going to trust that mine is a newer revision since I didn't have to adjust any voltage.

Yeah , on another post someone said they had the A2 and were still able to get the FBS to 200 without modding it.

I checked CPU-z (unsure of its accuracy) and it said my board was A2, hopefully if it A2 I can still get to 200 like at A3s

I physically verified my chipset revision before I modded the cooling on my 8RDA+ and I have A3/A3 chips. CPU-Z says it is A2 though so I don't put much stock into CPU-Z.

My o/c results so far (I just got the chip today):
EPoX 8RDA+ rev. 1.1 with BIOS 3609
Barton 2500+
Vcore = 1.70V (1.72V actual)
FSB = 190MHz
Mult = 11.5
Freq = 2185MHz (2194MHz actual)
Max temp after nearly 1hr of Prime95 = 56C (I have quiet cooling, not the most efficient)

Memory: 2 x 512MB Kingston HyperX PC2700
Memory Freq = 100%
Memory Timings = 6-2-2-2.0
Vdimm = 2.63V

I'm really impressed and happy at this point. The only changes I'll make in the future may be dropping the Vcore to 1.675V and speeding up the memory to 5-2-2-2.0. Hopefully the system will accept those settings and remain stable.

Yeah I lowered my FSB a lil and up the mulitpler so I'm currently at (12.5x180)

I really think it maybe the mem that is keeping me from getting the FSB higher althought it could be the mobo if I have the a2 rev.

I can live with the 2500 @ 2.2 gigs but when I get that TwinX 3200LLPT that I ordered I want to get the FSB to 200 mHz.

Cross my fingers!!!!
