Epox 8rda+ troubles

I recently got my 8rda up and running today, having a few minor problems though.

My setup is:

Windows XP pro SP1
Athlonxp 2400
2x 512mb PC2700 kingston hyperx
SB audigy

I have to minor problems. First of all, it seems that I've been having trouble reading some CDs. I reinstalled the drivers so that the nforce 2 IDE drivers didnt install and instead left the regular WHQL drivers. Some CDs will cause explorer to lock up for no reason at all, and they didn't do this on my machine before i put the new mobo/ram/cpu in with the same drives/config. Is there anything i'm missing that could be attributed to this problem?

My second problem seems to be with the USB2.0, in device manager it shows it as having no driver says the USB controller and a "pci input device" (im assuming more to do with the USB as i have nothing else in there thats not installed)


My other 4 USB deviced are installed, as far as i can tell, im using one of them right now. I'm assuming this other device is the 2 other ports run to the back via the pins on the mobo. I don't have this plugged in (newegg send me two firewire things instead of a USB) so could that be the reason it's not installing drivers for it? I saw the thing on the install CD about getting the new USB drivers off of windows update, but I can't seem to get them or find them on the microsoft site.

i think this would prolly be better off in the motherboard forums. there are actually stickied threads from each NF2 board in there with a wealth of information.
