Seems that the left speaker doesn't want to work... no matter how much i play with the wires or settings... i already downloaded nforce 2.0 drivers... mebbe i need new bios? any suggestions?

Make sure you run the speaker wizard. Sometimes once you run through that, the speakers will start working. It seems like a silly thing, but sometimes it works.
