Epox 8RDA+ - Radeon 9500 or Geforce4 ti4600?

Just needed some advice on this. What would work out better on the Epox 8RDA+ mobo, the Radeon or the Geforce4? I mean, the Nforce2 board, I'm assuming are designed to work "better" with Geforce4 cards? Or does it not make a difference? Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance...

depends on what you want. the 4600 is better for todays games, 9500 is better for games about a year from now.

Radeon 9500Pro will outperform GF 4 in AA/AF situations and give some future support in terms of DX9.

Thanks for the input guys...I guess I was just more concerned about "better compatibility" with the motherboard but from what I've heard/seen, it seems like it's not gonna make a difference. Only the card.

I tried a 9500 Pro on my Epox 8RDA+. You have to do some serious hoop jumping to get that card to work RIGHT on that board. nForcersHQ forums has a procedure that does work if you need to go that route. Oh, and I lost USB 2.0 on my 8RDA+ while I had the 9500 Pro installed. Just so you know...

I have a 9600pro, and before that i had a 9500np (returned b/c it was ... crap) with an Epox 8RDA+. Both worked without a hitch... I can't test the USB2.0 problem because i have no v2 devices.

Ive got 2 systems running Radeons and the 8RDA+.

One, you can see in my sig with the 9700 Pro.

My other is basically the exact same setup with a 9500 Pro.

No problems with either system and the Radeons.

And my USB 2.0 works just fine on both systems.
