EPOX 8RDA+ onboard LAN problem?

I have enabled the onboard LAN (in the bios, i have disabled the mac address though), and in windows XP i can see the computer has detected the network cable connection(if i disconnect the cable, the computer will show LAN disconnected message). The problem is while everything seems fine, i cannot log on to any website. It seems like IE is not connected to the internet. I tried to set up the ie using internet options. it still didn't work 🙁

(for your info, there are three computers including my in my apartment, the other 2 computers are working fine. These three computer are connected using linksys DSL router)

Have anyone encoutered this before?

yes, i can see all the computers (including my) that are connected to the LAN (including my MAC address if that helps). I can also see the sharefolders in other computers but cannot access them.

Go into the router's configuration; look for the Gateway.
Now, in the Windows command line window, ping first the router, then the gateway, then a website. Let's see what happens there.
 
This may seem pretty obvious, but have you installed the drivers from the disc that comes with the mobo?
