Well, these issues I speak of have pretty much been there since I got the board, and only seem to affect things when I reboot, or power down the system. When she's up, she runs great, fast, stable.
There's a couple weird problems I get.
When I have disconnected the power from it and then reconnect power, I cannot get it to power up. What I have to do is hold down the power button for a while, let go and then press it normally. The system will now power up, however I get warning siren type beep. Sort of like the woo woo sirens in europe. I'm pretty sure the error code is C1. If I press the reset button it will some times boot up now, other times it will get hung and I get code 26.
I have two corsair cmx256a 3200c2 sticks of memory.
Even if I just reboot the system I still seem to get the same error code 26. I pulled one of the sticks of memory and it seemed to boot up more readily now, however it's still cranky and intermittant.
I've updated to the latest bios, which was almost a nightmare in itself. It spazed out half way through, rebooted and redid the flash while the woowoo siren was goin. It booted afterwards and no real change in how the system acts compared to the previous 1/29 version.
I'm going to try and snag some memory from a buddy to verify whether it is the corsair memory issues.....or if its a mobo issue.
Anyone have anything similar happen to theirs? Recommendations/suggestions? Should I just RMA it?
TIA
Josh
