I think I'll try an RMA and see if it helps even though I'll be sad for a few days while my 'puter is down. Funny how we come to depend on these things..
I will RMA also if I can't get 1 x 512MB PC3200 Corsair XMS to run at 166MHz. I am fully expected to get into the mid 180s (not saying 200 due to Vdd problem that we are all so aware of). If I can't do it with Corsair then the board is messed up somehow.

I found out about these problems right after I ordered two 512 PC2700 from Crucial...sent them back and bought two 512 PC3200 from Mushkin...

2400+ @ 200x11.5 (1.675v) 32 C idle...41 C after a few hours of Prime95 (using SLK-800)...hope this RAM issue gets solved.

Good luck,

Let us known if the boards you get as a result of the RMA fix the problems. I really, REALLY don't want to have to RMA, but if it solves this problem, I suppose I will.

I have been having the exact same problems for some time. In fact I have given up on the whole thing and have started using a backup computer as I have already RMA'ed the MB back to epox to no avail. I have been too frustrated with other issues lately to deal with fixing this irritating box. I will try and set my memory to the 150MHz and see what occurs. I too am using 2 sticks of 512 kinston valueram. I have emailed kingston and advised them of my problem. Their memory is listed as a compatible part for the 8rda on their website.
