Epox 8KTA3

Opinions? Excellent board? Bad? Makes a lousy clipboard? Quirks?

I'm looking for a socket-A board that I can put a G450 and Crucial 256MB DIMM in (as well as a bunch of other PCI cards)

I also have one of these boards and for 120 bucks you can't beat what your getting. I have built about 5 computer with this board for people and have had no complaints. I use win2kpro on mine and i its been very🙂 STABLE.

Hope you have the same luck
Jason
If you have any setup problems with this board privat message me and I will try to help

Someones got one new in box for $110.00 shipped in the for sale/trade forum. I love mine. Exellent stability.
Hawk i'm at 6x150 now for a week, absolutly no probs. At this setting, I can lower my CPU core voltage to 1.8 which keeps it cool and it's still fast. I tried 155MHz, but my ram was @ cas2, and it was not stable so I did'nt leave it there. 4-way interleave works on this board as well.

Damn that's a good price. At this point I'm waiting for either my yearly bonus check (along with most people in the building) or the federal tax return check (along with almost as many people in the building)

good board overall...i had upgraded to this board from Epox's 7kxa w/ an Athlon 600 Classic...the new system w/ a Duron 700@933 (133FSB * 7) is running quite stable in Win2k Pro and does SETI or any other intense CPU programs (i.e. Unreal Tournament) w/o crashing

Yeah, I think its quite sad how everyone hear is whining about the MSI and Iwill boards - I blame Anandtech for the obvious over-hyping job. From what I see, these boards are simply sh*tty. I really hope Epox's reputation scores big with the great job they've done. It's great to see an underrated company:

1. Put out a better product than the others
2. Do it ahead of the others
3. Do it for a cheaper price(!)

Nice....

Love my board. Purchased Epox 8kta2 then upgraded to 8kta3 with no complaints. Great support, price and very stable.
