ok, I see everyone overclocking good. and this is my 2nd overclocking chip, first i used a 1.33 axia Y serial, now a 1.4 AYHJA

They both overclocked like crap for me.

Right now with my 1.4 I can get it to 1528mhz , like 10.5x145 , and here is what I am using

Watercooling
512MB PC150 Cas2 2-2-2 Mosel 7ns SDRAM
Epox 8KTA3

Is there some BIOS setting that need to be tweaked besides the voltage/fsb/multiper??

And When i try doing 140x11.5 , windows starts loading and I get this error:

Invalid VxD dynamic link call to device number 3, Service B , Your Windows Configuration is invalid, Please run windows setup again to correct

Either that or when I try an o/c to 1550 i alwats get windows protection errors..

Is there somthing I am doing wrong? LMK , I am running a 300watt ps also...

nope! I just ran it in 200mhz fsb mode, and I hit like 1568 , and 1568~ give me windows errors in 266mhz fsb because of "high" fsb speeds. I read somwhere that there is some kind of 1/5 pci thing that you change it to and you can run higher fsb, but I cannot find it in my BIOS, someone wana help me out?

Have you changed PSU to a higher, 300W really isnt enough to do more than 1.3 my 350W is only reccomended up to 1.4

try a 400W PSU

your cache 1/5 divider overclocking is a "myth," rumor, dreams...unproven.....but it would be nice

edit....pci latency is the way to get high fsb speeds......

i dont know scince i dont have that board but if heard enough posts around here to know lantency is the way your board hits so high of a fsb....The longest??... setting in lantency works best for o/c.. get a hold of some of these guys that were going on about 170 and higher fsb settings on epox boards....try a search or a new post for all epox 8k7a owners..there the ones that had success with high fsb settings
