EPOX 8KTA3 MOBO conflicts with Sound Blaster Live! Value Card. HELP!

I have the EPOX 8KTA3 motherboard which comes with a sound output. Whenever I plug the Sound Blaster Live! Value card... my computer locks up every 7 seconds or so. It will move, than stop, than move, stop, etc. Very annoying. The sound does work perfectly. Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Have you disabled the onboard audio in the BIOS? Might give that a try.

NO disable the sound and audio in the bios for the motherboard... Doh read your manual
