Ok, well maybe not bets, but just wodering what ya'll think might be possible. I was thinking that 1 ghz wouldn't be out of the question, unless just not a great chip, then, maybe 950? Oh well, right now it's just dreams...board's backordered till next millenium....er...week

I am running my duron 800 (oem) at 1 GIG using an Abit KT7-Raid.

You certainly should be able to comfortably reach 950 to 1000.

Good Luck !

BTW - I used the rear window defogger repair trick to connect the l1 bridges- seems to work good.

PROS:It's permanant, you don't need to redo it every other month.
You don't need to find the right type of pencil--2h or 2b?
1 bottle lasts forever

CON:It's permanant,if you cross the L1's you may be in trouble,if you fry the cpu you can't erase it to try to get a new one.
Costs 7-8$

BP, your 'CON' is not true. Acetone with remove the defogger fluid after it dries quite easily. IMHO, the defogger repair kit is better than conductive pens, pencils etc.

BP - daddy is correct.

The rear window defogger repair stuff ( at least the one made by permatex) comes clean off with acetone and a cutip cotton swab.

Yes - even after it has dried !

Its easy, its more permanent.

Read my earlier post - and hey, I've only been at this overclocking business for a few days now.

Take your time, do it right before you reinstall your components.
