Although I have no idea what it does, even though I do NOT have RAID version, but performance on 3Dmark2001, it give me extra 100 poing on the default setting..

hmm.........Eitherway, seems Epox constantly trying to improve its product.

Get your 8KT31518.bin
, it is OFFICIAL BIOS, NOT beta.

I noticed a few more in-between FSB settings but no 1MHz increments. The max FSB is 166 - was it that high before? There are also RAS CAS settings.

My video card won't let me go very much higher above AGP spec, so I'm stuck for the moment unless I want to get a Voodoo card I guess.

it adds new memory setting...something about precharge 2T or 3T or things like that (3 new memory settings)

I didn't play around w/ the BIOS yet, but simply load the default.

I notice something strange. (hard to believe), but my wife's Duron 850 was only able to run 7.5X133, but now, it finished 3Dmark2001 on 8X133 w/out added voltage. (already running it at 1.80V) Will have to run longer to justify this, though..

They also gave us back the 6x multiplier, which is good cause I like to run at 6x150MHz, which allows me to run with a lower cpu voltage setting, and with the 150MHz bus speed is just about as fast as running at a lower bus/higher multipler setting. Maybe my memory can handle the new speed tweaks and i'll really be a happy camper.

Xeron-Man:

Where did you see more fsb options?

There are no new settings between 124 - 166.

I don't think there is more FSB option though...
except, you still got 1Mhz increment;

such 133/33/-0.25=132
133/33/+0.25=134
133/33/+0.5=135 FSB

so on and so forth...

1. Have your bin file in a clean floopy disk. (yes, that is all you need a bin file)
2. Restart your PC
3. Press Alt+F2 key,...that's it!!!!!!!
(no other mobo can flash bio as easy as Epox)

TimeKeeper:

You are confusing the spread spectrum options at 133 with fsb options. Did you notice that they are available only at 133? Besides, all of those options have been available since the beginning.

Besides, how would EPoX sell the 8KTA3 Pro models, which offer nothing else but 1 MHz adjustments? (Which is pretty crappy, I think--just give us a BIOS that supports "micro-stepping", don't make us buy a new board to get the feature.)
