I'm trying to set up the core voltage on this board and a couple things are confusing me. The manual that came with the board (revision 1.2) gives settings for the SW1 switch for voltages from 1.475 to 1.850. I wanted a 1.700 setting, so I set the jumpers as it said (1-on, 2-off, 3-off, 4-on, 5-on, 6-off). When I booted up and went in to bios setup, the vcore showed at 1.78. So I decided to go to Epox site and see if there was any info there. They had a downloadable manual there (revision 1.0). In looking at that one it shows voltage can be set in the range of 1.30 to 2.05. That's a very different range. Also, the individual settings for the given voltages don't match my other manual (eg. they are different for 1.7 setting). No matter which manual I go by the voltage that should have been set by the switch setting I used should not have been the 1.78 that the bios was showing.
Can anyone tell me what the correct range of voltage choices are that can be set by the SW1 switch, and maybe what the correct settings for 1.700 volts would be? And when I used settings that should have given me ether 1.70 or 1.75 volts, why did the bios show 1.78?
