This looks like an interesting board that supports 4 dimm slots and RAID controllers.

Im sure this will will be a popular board as much as the EPOX 8Kha+ was.

However, I dont really like the layout of the board so much. The power connector needs to loop on top of the ram and behind the CD drives while all the ide cables must be routed towards the bottom of the board.

but why not buy the epox 8k3a? its based on the newer kt333 chipset, and its already available

heh heh, Epox has way to many KT266A renditions floating around right now.

actually u should wait for the KT333A. which is due out prolly as we speak or soon enough. altho if u have the epox 8kha+ alot of reviews advised that the performance gain from going to the kt333a would be marginal at best and not worth upgrading. personally i'm not gonna upgrade until i make the jump to the claw hammer. its just not worth upgrading for an incremental perfromance gain.

i could be wrong but i dont think there is going to be a kt333a

from what i understand the chipset that goes by the name of kt333 was originally going to be called kt333a... and the one that was originally going to be called kt333 was never released
