I've some questions about this mobo. I've just bought it. In all reviews that i've seen, we can choose the cpu voltage and dimm voltage, and so the multiplier. But in mine we can't. It's the rev 2.0 and latest official bios.

do you read the manual about changing all those setting?
or do you actually buy the "lite" vision, there is a EPox 8KHAL that do not allow such changes.

No. The board says 8kha+. The bios chip says Y+. and the board is rev 2.0 I don´t know what to do. I'll try to use the modbin program to check if my bios has hidded this option.

Hmmm not trying to insult your intelligence but did you look in the right place in the BIOS? It`s in the "Frequency/voltage control" section.

hit "Delete" key when you power on your computer, you can then go into BIOS screen, choose the right sub-screen (follow the screen and their options in your manual), Remember to save and exit for the changes to be effective.

And you have to hook up the computer before you can change all of those (CPU, RAM, Video, Hard drive), this jumperless design is easy to work (all done in the BIOS screen). I remember only one jumper to set the FSB between 100/133 is needed.
(if you use Althon, XP, etc pick 133).

Yes. It only says spred spectrum, the FSB and another small option. It dosen't alow me change the voltage. I see if i can take a screen shot to post here. The mobo says in the pcb Epox 8kha+ and not the version lite. the manual has a picture like all the reviews i have see, but the mobo bios is diferent. I've tried to hack the bios with the modbin, but same result. I think i'm going to sent it back...

according to 8Kha+ manual, the BIOS screen:Frequency/Voltage Control has the following options:
1. Auto Detect DIMM/PCI Clk [Enabled]
2. Spread Spectrum [Disabled]
3. CPU Clock [100]
4. CPU Ration [Auto]

Default CPU Vcore Voltage 1.75V (display only)
5. CPU Vcore Voltage [+0.000 V]
New CPU Vcore Voltage 1.75 (display only)

Default VDIMM Voltage 2.5V (display only)
6. VDIMM Voltage [+0.00V]
New VDIMM Voltage 2.5V (display only)

You are saying you do not have those on that screen?

well my bios just has this options:
1. Auto Detect DIMM/PCI Clk [Enabled]
2. Spread Spectrum [Disabled]
3. CPU Clock [100]

I've used the modbin program to see if there is some of the options on the bios. Yep, they are there, but simply just not shown on the bios it self...

nothing else. I'm going to see if i can borrow a digital camera to take some pictures. The board says in the pcb that is a 8kha+ and it isn't the version lite.
To flash the bios to the version 2304 i've just run the update.exe. nothing else! I think i'm going to send it RMA, and buy a new one.
