Epox 8kha+ users have you upgraded your VIA chipset cooler?

If you don't plan on FSB overclocking, I don't believe you really need to upgrade the northbridge cooler. It only gets the hottest when you do FSB overclocking.

I would still recommend you remove the northbridge heatsink and put some good heatsink past, such as arctic silver or artic alumina on there. If you don't have that, just smear some more of the white silicon based gunk on there and make sure it's about over the chip/heatsink.

I normally run the stock setup error free at 167MHz - 171MHz, with memory at 1:1,
and even when using SPD (mem at 3/4), stock hsf handles 192MHz error free here.
So don't think an "upgrade" is needed. Stock seems to handle all this mb can put out.
As dude says, a little compound won't hurt.
Have seen some reports of users getting over 200MHz fsb (400DDR), so perhaps a little AS was needed???
