I was just wondering if anyone else has had problems with their epox 8KHA+ mobo seeing as how mine was rather... erm.. flashy?
Hooked it all up, powered on, nothing. Checked all the connections, everything looked good so I hit the power again. *pop*
The little chip between the chipset fan header and center mounting hole flashed and literally blew off a quarter of itself. At first I thought it might have been the PSU so I checked all the voltage chanels manually then tested it in a working computer for 2 days, 5 on/off cycles (had better things to do than turn it on and off all day) so the PSU seems safe enough and the case doesn't have any shorts from behind of anything like that, plus the biggest thing that pins it on the mobo is the fact the same setup ran with another mobo just fine.
So yeah my main system is offline as I wait to see what's going on with the mobo, just wondering if anyone else has had similar problems.
