Ok then why is it that when you go to www.epox.com and click on Tokyo then click on BIOS and select EP-HKA+ you see the 8khi1c18.bin BIOS dated 2001/12/18??? Are you trying to say Japan screwed-up? I would like to think that they are just more gung-ho than the Taiwan head office.

PLEASE read all of the posts ad amdmb.com regarding this topic. An engineer from Epox posted that this is NOT an official release from Epox HQ. Something about it missing an engineering code.
I am going to wait for the OFFICIAL OFFICIAL bios release when it cvomes out. Cant be soon enough tho.

Yes, please do... that is why I included the link in the original post of this thread. I think what mboy is referring to about the engineer applies to the earlier 8khi1c18 BIOS that was leaked by an EPoX engineer. What was discovered at amdmb.com forums was that the BIOS updated from EPoX Japan is in fact different even though the name is the same as the earlier leaked one. Don't mean to argue with you mboy but this it how I read it.

**** UPDATE ****

In digging further, I was able to discover that EPoX is considering this BIOS as NOT official because there is no ECN (engineering change notice) raised in this BIOS version. Even though EPoX Japan has decided to make it available, they do it without the support of their main headquarters in Taiwan.

Sorry for the confusion
