Epox 8KHA+ mobo or wait for new Via KT333 chipset mobo???

Is the new Via KT333 chipsets motherboards worth waiting for or should I just get a Epox 8kHA+ motherboard now??

Suggestions/recommendation?

Thanks

Depends. I got an 8KHA+ about a week ago and I love it. Easy to set up and stable as hell. I would probably just go for the Epox now. Once the KT333 is released everyone will be saying how great it is but to wait for the KT333A. Why put yourself through that. Go for instant gratification and get the Epox. But that's just my opinion.

For $100 you cant beat this board, its allways a qustion of wait or buy if you get the 333 then you will want the 333a that will come out just like the 133 and 266 its gonna happen again IMO I would spend 100 now. Also RAM for 333 boards costs too much right now to warrent it

Never play waiting game in technology...or u'll never get to buy anything. When KT333 comes out...u'll wait for KT333A & so on. If u need a mobo now, get Epox 8KHA+. Fast and stable.

Obviously...cost vs performance is another factor. The KT333 will cost u a bomb.

Just bought an 8KHA+ myself and another good reason to do so is that it's been out a while, there are plenty of helpful sites on the web even w/ complete config guides, pretty much all its problems and shortcomings have been identified and revised bioses and workarounds developed, and don't kid yourself there most certainly will be problems w/ the KT333 boards and angst till things are worked out. Unless you thrive on frustration and uncertainty (the price you pay for being first in line for any new technology nowadays) go for the epox.

That is easy get the Epox and wait till the new chipset comes out, Set your computer up the way you want it and you are only out some pocket change when you change the board and you never know you might like the Epox so much you might not want to change, It is one fast and stable board

I am going to stress that other than USB 2.0 and ATA/133 built in, KT333 has nothing to offer. Sure it has PC2700 support, but what's that PC2700 gonna do on the athlon's 266fsb? And it seems like that there is next to no chance that T-Bred will be a 166fsb CPU. Forget KT333. Go get a 8KHA+. You won't be sorry.
